Scholarly Interest and Expertise: Dr. Aradhana Gandhi is a management graduate and a doctorate in management (Retail) under Dr. Ravi Shankar, IIT – Delhi, with 4 years of industry experience and 19 years of teaching and training experience. Her core area of research is in Retail management and Marketing. She was invited as a speaker at Retailers Association of India (RAI Supply chain summit) to talk about her doctoral work on supply chain in Retail. She has several publications in the area of Retail in reputed International journals like International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, Benchmarking: An International Journal and Asia Pacific journal of Management. She has 6 papers published and accepted in an ABDC, B rated journal, with total 10 Scopus publications and overall 16 publications to her credit in last 4 years (on an average of 4 publications per year). She has a good hold on Marketing Research and research methodology and conducts training programs for the corporate through SCCE.

She is actively representing SCMHRD at the CII – Pune chapter by attending all the Industry – Academia meets, conferences and talks organized by CII. She heads the MDP cell at SCMHRD and therefore has to regularly go and meet the industry professionals to seek business. She keeps herself abreast with the latest developments in the area of business and research by attending training programs organized by STLRC, RAI, CII and programs organized by other reputed institutes. She has presented her research in reputed conferences like PAN – IIM, Society of Operations Management (SOM), IIT-Delhi conference, NASMEI, SIMSARC, etc.

She is currently spearheading the preparation of on-line content for the core courses to aid experiential learning for the students. She is also in-charge of the Assurance of Learning (Standard 8) of AACSB accreditation and Outcome based learning initiated by SIU, which deals with the teaching learning effectiveness. She was the core committee member during NAAC for Criteria III and took an active role in the team.

Apart from conducting courses in the area of Retail and Marketing research, she also is a certified SAP trainer. Over the past 12 years, she has trained more than 200 faculty members from various universities and colleges in India including symbi faculty in the area of ‘ERP through SAP’, “TERP10 certification”, under the SAP Train the Trainer program. She also conducted SAP training at various institutes like University of Kelaniya, Srilanka, IIT – Delhi, SRM university, Techno University, IMI, IMDR, Bhartiya Vidya Peeth university, etc to name a few.

She is a TERP10 certified consultant which is a SAP user level training. She was sponsored by SAP for attending various SAP University Alliance Program (UAP) conferences at Singapore, Thailand, Hongkong and Germany. She was invited as a panel member and trainer during these conferences to conduct break-out sessions. She underwent the TERP10 certification at Singapore and conducted various trainings for Indian faculty members. She was also sponsored to attend the training program on SAP Business by design at Munich, Germany. She has uploaded SAP – Human Capital Management content (Star Wagon: Case study in Human Resources using IDES) on the SAP University alliance website which is used by professors across the globe for teaching SAP – HR module in their respective universities. She has been awarded the outstanding faculty from India award for the year 2011 at the SAP conference held at Hong Kong in the year 2012.
