SCMHRD's MBA-Finance Program has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program

SCMHRD has become the latest school to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program and the very first one in India. SCMHRD’s MBA-Finance Program has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice within the program. This program positions students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world.

Entry into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that SCMHRD’s curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit for the CFA examinations.  Through participation in this program, SCMHRD is eligible to receive a limited number of student scholarships for the CFA Program each year.

Established in 1993, the Masters in Business Administration of SCMHRD is one of the most prestigious programs in India. The program provides students with a comprehensive formation through humanistic courses complemented with strong technical analytical and management skills to understand the business environment. The MBA program can be completed in four semesters and has four areas of specialization, finance being one of the most important ones.

SCMHRD's MBA in Finance is a full-time program. The program offers a mix of theoretical and applied courses seeking a balance between the theory and empirical aspects of finance, trying different aspects with the rigor that analysis and financial management requires.
