Programme Objective - MBA Executive

SCMHRD's Master of Business Administration (Executive) program is a 30 months weekend program specially designed for working professionals in and around Pune. The program is tailor-made to meet the challenges managers and leaders face in the present economy. The various functional areas offered are Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and IT.

Objectives of the program are as follows:

  • To transform successful managers into global business leaders.
  • To develop knowledge in core areas of business including strategy formulation.
  • To refine the interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
  • To broaden the understanding of organizational dynamics in order to increase their capacity in the task of reinventing organizations.

All Internal Courses will have 100% component as internal evaluation at the Institute level. All External Courses will have 60% internal component and 40% component as external [University] examination.

Standard of passing

The assessment of the students for each course is done based on the relative performance of the student compared to the class average. Maximum GP is 4 corresponding to A+. For all the courses, a student is required to pass both internal and external exams separately with a minimum Grade Point of 1.6 corresponding to the grade of D- Grade Point Average.

Award of degree

Executive Master of Business Administration (Exe-MBA) will be awarded at the end of 5th semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all 5 semesters examinations after obtaining minimum 2.00 CGPA out of 4 CGPA.

Eligibility & Selection Procedure


Bachelor Degree of any recognized statutory University with 50 % marks & at least 3 year work experience in a reputed organization after Graduation.

Selection Procedure:
  • There will be written test and Personal Interaction.
  • Written test will consist of English communication and multiple choice questions based on basic mathematics (data interpretation).
