On the 16th & 17th of November, the Marketing Club, SCMHRD shall be hosting its Conclave on the theme Green Marketing. The Conclave shall play host to a variety of eminent speakers from the industry. Furthermore, with cash prizes up to Rs. 1,70,000 up for grabs, the events organized under the Conclave shall witness fierce competition.
The theme was chosen keeping in mind the current trends in the industry. As corporates have begun looking for ways to be more sustainable by launching greener products & services, the responsibilities of the marketeer too have been revolutionized. What was once counted as necessity, is today perceived as wasteful. Could the Green Marketers of the world be the only saviors for the organizations that are hoping to grow sustainably? Or is Green Marketing just a passing phase which shall have no real impact on the global economy?
