Marketing Conclave

Marketing club is the flagbearer of marketing related events and activities in SCMHRD. With the plethora of events it organizes regularly, it ensures that it remains vibrant throughout the year. The flagship event ‘Marketing Conclave’ is held each year which acts as a platform for students to interact with the top brass of India. The Conclave is generally a two day event which receives participation from over 3000 participants from prominent B-schools of India.This year the theme is ”Sports & Entertainment Marketing” which has completely transmuted the world of marketing. Not only do the students get an excellent platform to showcase their mettle but it also serves as an icing on the cake as far as the learning is concerned. The core event is the Symposium wherein speakers from various sectors of the industry come and share their insights on the relevant theme. Some of the speakers whom the club has had the opportunity to interact with are Mr .Prahlad Kakkar (Director, Genesis Films), G.K. Suresh (G.M. Brands ITC), Mr. Raghu Pillai (CEO, Reliance Retail), Mr. Rajeev Kapoor (President & CEO, Fiat), Mr .Partha Banerjee (Sr. VP(Tech), Mahindra & Mahindra) . This time again, there will be a broad spectrum of speakers from varied backgrounds to enlighten the students. Although the prefest events start a month in advance , there are various other events such as case study competitions , Bquiz, Volteface, MarQuest with huge prizes to be won. This year the closing highlight shall be the introduction of the Cultural Night which would see prominent artists energize the young crowd. So, for the two day extravaganza on 9 & 10 December, 2015 – Marketing Conclave is the place to be.
