Analytics Club

Analytics club is a student body which started in 2015, managed by those who are passionate about the analytics world. The main idea behind establishing this club is to provide the knowledge and the applications of analytics in the real world to future managers. Moreover, it acts as an interface between the student community and the industry.

Our Objective

To foster an interactive learning environment that will help its members develop excellent data-driven decision-making skills, and keep them updated with latest trends & happenings across the Analytics Industry through valuable input from faculty, academia and representatives from the industry.

The club will organize numerous activities across the year that will help to achieve the objective of the club, Activities include:

  • Fidlatica- Analytics Quiz and Case Study Competition

  • Avenir- Annual Conference Event

  • Organizes sessions by Industry Experts, Guest lectures, Quizzes, Hackathons, Blogs, Case Study competitions and Workshops.

Commencement Of MBA (BA) Programme

In June 2017, the academic year for the inaugural batch of MBA (BA) commenced which is a 2 year residential Full Time programme in comparison to the erstwhile one year full time residential PGPBA.

The increasing availability of data has meant that management decisions can be backed up with solid analytical facts about the data. Tools that were once the exclusive domain of statisticians are now increasingly available to dissect and explore data to expose patterns that are invaluable in decision making.

Colloquium 2019

The Analytics Club of SCMHRD organized its annual analytics panel discussion: Colloquium 2019 on the 29th of September at Symbiosis Centre for management and Human Resource Development, Pune.

Fidlatica 2019

Fidlatica 5.0 is an online quiz (Elimination round) and case study competition hosted by the Analytics Club. The shortlisted teams from the case study competition will be presenting their solutions in Avenir’20.

Avenir 2020

The club and the students of 2019-2021 Full time MBA Business Analytics (MBA (BA)) will be conducting the annual Analytics Conference “Avenir ‘20” on the 4th of January 2018 at Symbiosis Centre for management and Human Resource Development, Pune.

Below are the details of the event:

  • Location and address of the conference: Symbiosis centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Pune

  • Duration of Event: Event will be for a duration of 4-5 hours and starts at 9:00AM

  • Purpose of the Conference: Our goal is to bring together bright minds to talk on areas that are idea-focused, and focus on wide range of Analytics. Expert Knowledge in the area would be of great value to the audience, especially the budding Analytics Students of the country who require the guidance and path-breaking ideas to lead their way through tough completion in the Global market.

  • General Profile of Target Audience: Post Graduates in Business Analytics, MBA Graduates and Corporate Stalwarts
