Objectives:

The Six Sigma committee was founded in 2005 with the objective of providing a platform for organizations practicing Six Sigma to come together and share their experiences and learning's from an ongoing and ever improving journey called as Six Sigma. The committee spreads the awareness about the event and how participating in the event will benefit organizations. It also acts as facilitator by bringing together the corporate and educational institute.

Description

Six Sigma committee comprises of student members from different specializations. The students bring with them expertise from different domains which are helpful in event organization.

Work done

Since its inception in 2005, Six Sigma Committee has made rapid progress and has established the event as one of the major events of the college. The progress is evident from the following details:

2006 – 65 companies participated
2007 – 80 companies expected
