- Served as Chief Business Officer, National Collateral Management Services Ltd. (December, 2004 to June 2006).
Responsible for development of warehousing business, design and rollout of Collateral Management Solutions for banks and financial institutions, including Structured Commodity Finance with cross-border trade linkages.
- Served as the Chief Executive Officer of Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India (FIMMDA) between August 2003 and December 2004.
Responsibilities included intermediating between banks and RBI for all issues relating to the bond and derivatives market, ensuring fair market practices, introduction of new products, conducting trainings and seminars on issues of topical interest to the members, etc.
- Before joining FIMMDA,� worked with ICICI Bank, in Treasury Department for over 7 years, in various positions including Head – Treasury; actively associated with Asset Liability Management, Risk Management, Resource Planning, etc.
- Prior to joining ICICI Bank,� had a long tenure of over 16 years at State Bank of India and handled various assignments viz Treasury, Resource Mobilisation, Credit Appraisal, Loan Delivery, Administration and Planning etc.

Mr. Pranab Kumar Choudhury is the Vice Chairman of ICRA Limited & CEO of the ICRA Group. He is also the Chairman of ICRA Online Ltd.� and the Vice Chairman of the Manila based Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA). � He is a director of ICRA Management Consulting Services Ltd., ICRA Techno Analytics Ltd, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. and Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd.

Mr. Choudhury is M.Com. from The Calcutta University, Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, C.A.I.B. from The Institute of Bankers, London C.A.I.I.B. from the Indian Institute of Bankers and Diploma in Advanced Financial Management from the Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands.
Before joining ICRA in 1991 as its CEO, he has worked in manufacturing industry, commercial banking, development banking and merchant banking for about 20 years.� |

An accomplished banker, Mr. Patel had a long stint with the banking regulator Reserve Bank of India. He had previously worked with MNC and public sector banks like BNP PARIBAS, State Bank Group etc.
Mr. Patel is a member of the Working Committee of World Federation of Exchanges (WFE); Chairman of South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE); Member of various committees in Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI); National Council on Corporate Governance & Regulatory Framework of Confederation of Indian Industries (CM); Council on Corporate Governance, Indian Merchant Chambers (IMC). He is Director of Central Depositories Services (India) Ltd. (CDSL) and BO! Shareholding Ltd. (BOISL) and BSE Investor Protection Fund.
He spearheaded BSE's Corporatisation and Demutualisation of the Exchange. Under his stewardship, BSE is also the recipients of ICAI Award for 'Best Financial Reporting' - 2006; & Golden Peacock Global Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in Financial Services -2007'.
Mr. Patel was selected for the Award of "Distinguished Fellow" by Institute of Directors in January 2007 and honoured with the "Indira Super Achiever Award" in December 2005. He has also been awarded for being one of India's Greatest HR Professionals by ITM Business School. |

Has had exposure to all facets of Banking, Training, Branch Control, Business Unit Management, Computerised MIS, Branch Computerization including on line� banking, Merchant Banking, Dealing, etc., in India and� dealing room� of SBI, Bahrain (OBU), and Exchange Business in the Gulf.�
Headed the project as Project Manager with the consultants KPMG to formulate and implement SBI’s long term technology plan.
Headed the Retail Network of the Bank’s Hyderabad Circle comprising of more than 800 branches in Andhra Pradesh.
Was in charge of entire SBI group IT operations and was involved in implementation of Bank’s long term technology plan.
Presently CEO of Bank’s Asset Management Company� (A joint venture with SBI and Société Générale Asset Management) having AUM of Rs. 26,717 crores as on 29.10.2007. |
