The guest lecture was conducted by Mr. Atul Donde, Director-Sales Strategy and Development, Whirlpool India. With 26 years of rich experience in Sales and Marketing in consumer durables, Mr. Donde has served as GM, Godrej, GE Appliances Ltd and as Branch Manager at Daewood Electronics, BPL and WIMCO Ltd.
As the PMR lead at Whirlpool, he accelerated the embedment of PMR in India and the rest of Whirlpool Asia.
We were privileged to have Mr. Donde on campus, wherein we had a very interactive and enthralling session. The students got insights about how Operational Efficiency leads to simple and innovative designs, such as the built-in kitchen concept of Whirlpool. More than that we learnt how to create different solutions for different customers using the right science of marketing and sales cycle to create both a sustainable and a profitable business.
