Guest Lecture by Mr. Apurva Jain, Sr Brand Strategist, Leo Burnett

On 12th August 2013, Mr. Apurva Jain, the Senior Brand Strategist of Leo Burnett visited SCMHRD campus. His past experience includes as a brand strategist with Law and Kenneth and as a qualitative researcher with Happy Thinking People, a German Research agency. His clientele includes Coca Cola, Nivea, Levis, Dabur, Times Now etc.

The session started with a presentation, explaining the different windows through which we can get consumer insights. He talked about how important it is these days to understand the psycho-graphic and behavioral aspects of the consumer. He talked about the importance of an insight and how it helps to create great brands. This was illustrated by some classic advertisements’ being shown to us, which included the famous campaigns by Diageo and Snickers.

Learning with videos and illustrations is always more enriching and interesting as was evident by this session.
