Aarambh- the event that marks the end of one era and the beginning of another in SIC campus, the festival which brings together the students from all three colleges in the SIC campus- SCMHRD, SCIT and SIIB.

This year’s Aarambh was organized by SCIT on 7th July. The event was conducted in two rounds- first for the junior batch followed by repeat for the seniors. The excitement levels were high among the juniors as, it was the first opportunity for them to interact with students from the other colleges on a common platform. The levels rose when they showcased their talents in front of a full audience. And cheering them enthusiastically were the seniors of their respective colleges. It was a unique blend of versatility, creativity and cultural pot-pouri as the three colleges began a new journey at the Symbiosis fraternity. The stunning performances by all the three colleges won the hearts of the crowd who applauded them vociferously. But the highlight of the event was the performance by SIC administrator Col. Mohan when he donned the college shirts of the three colleges one by one through a humorous skit.

Thus, Aarambh marked the new beginnings. The new phase for first year students has just begun while it is also another sojourn for the second year students as they begin their new roles as mentors to the junior batches to guide them through the initial stages of confusion and apprehensions. Aarambh has just kicked off this interaction, and has paved the way to unique symbiosis. The spirit of which is shared by all three colleges together. And as they say, the new beginning.
